At The Onyx Clinic, we believe communication is the foundation for learning, confidence, and connection. Our skilled team of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) provides personalized, evidence-based care for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Founded by Ozi Jones, the clinic was created to ensure access to culturally responsive and equitable speech and language services in a safe, welcoming space. We’re proud to serve our community and help every client find their voice and achieve their communication goals.

Meet Our Founder

Ozi Jones MHM, MSc. S-LP, (C) Reg CASLPO
Ozi has served as a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 15 years across hospitals, community health, and private practice. She has developed hospital programs for Speech and Language services and brings a deep commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and client-centered care.
Her clinical interests include voice, swallowing, stroke rehabilitation, and advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) within the profession.

Ozi has served on the Board of Directors for Speech-Language & Audiology Canada and is the current Chair of the organization’s EDIA Committee. She also holds an adjunct faculty role at McMaster University’s School of Rehabilitation Sciences, mentoring future clinicians.
